About Me

As an experienced integrative counsellor and psychotherapist and a member of the BACP, I create a unique therapeutic relationship with clients to overcome challenges.

Hello, I'm Joanne

Welcome to Felley Counselling and Psychotherapy. To introduce myself, my name is Joanne, and although I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, my real expertise comes from working with people from all walks of life for around 25 years now.

The combination of enjoying working with people and my MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy creates a unique opportunity to get to know the people I'm working with at a deeper level, forming a therapeutic relationship when supporting people to tackle problems causing barriers such as anxiety and depression.

I've worked with a wide range of people, those with mental health diagnosis, suffering bereavement or trauma, disability or acquired disability, those with complex lives and people who just want to take an hour to understand themselves better and wind down from the daily grind.

My therapy base is Person-centred, which supports me in getting to know you on an individual basis, along with Attachment perspective to understand your issues at a deeper level and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy tools, which supports you to create self change.

I offer a free 15-minute telephone assessment to decide if you feel counselling is for you.
